Planning to play this soon. The rules seem pretty simple but my players are going to ask how to clear fatigue, and answering ‘do nothing for 6 days and deal with the encounters that brings’ seems like a hard sell. Am I missing something?

As written you’re not missing anything. However in practice, if the players are in relative safety I make one encounter roll to cover the whole duration and then make the time roll (p 36). It’s a bit abstracted out instead of hour by hour, mostly to prevent parties from taking these longer rests in an adventure site.

Have fun! Message me again here or on the blog if you run into anything else. :)

Thanks so much! Yes, that makes it a far easier sell. I thought I was going to be doing 6 encounter rolls: 1 per night!

Is the link to Amazon the new edition?  I purchased first version on Amazon so it says I already own it.

Great question! The current print copy on Amazon is already updated to the newest edition. Unfortunately, the magic does not yet exist for previous physical copies to somehow update to match... Oh to wave that magic wand!

Thanks for your nearly immediate reply and help getting the PDF!

Forgive me but would it be possible for you to leave the older versions to be downloaded as well? I quite enjoyed them and I would love to have the option to choose, if it would please you! Cheers!

For you? Sureee. Added 1.1 and 0.1 (the four-page version).

Thank you very much! Bought it on DTRPG, so I guess I’ll buy it here too! You deserve it! Keep up the good work!

A great product! I can't wait to use it with the additional rules for The City Game and The Wilderness Game discussed on the blog. I'm also excited to see The Tapestry as an influence. It's one of my favorite series and one that I've never seen talked about.

Rock on! The Tapestry is very underrated, for sure. 😁

What is The Tapestry?

A children’s book series combining the magic school trope and Irish mythology. There’s a very cool era in the series (around Book 3) where the “Voldemort” is clearly winning and entrusts large city-states to his demon lieutenants. A lot of politicking there.
